37. KIA RONDO EX V-6
WHY IT'S ON OUR HIT PARADE: Another small minivan alternative. It seats five or seven, depending on configuration, although it has four conventional doors, whereas the Mazda5 has sliding rear doors. Like the 5, the Rondo is fun to drive for a small utility player. While its handling isn't as sharp as the Mazda's, the optional V-6 gives it more load-hauling punch. And as with all Kias, you get a boatload of features for not much money.
COOL FACT: Codename under development was "UN Project."
SUM UP: Bargain-hunter's minivan alternative.
