Friends Robin Sparrow and Tom Holcomb often talked about joining One Lap. After Holcomb introduced Sparrow to track days, they spent the next four years racing at Virginia International Raceway, Summit Point, Mid-Ohio, and Road Atlanta.

In 2007, Holcomb lost his battle with prostate cancer. Sparrow has been racing for a cause and honoring Holcomb's memory ever since.

"Starting in 2007, I entered the One Lap to raise awareness of prostate cancer and funds in the fight against this terrible disease and in memory of Tommy," says Sparrow on the eve of his third One Lap. "In the past two years, we have raised $200,000 for ZERO - The Project to End Prostate Cancer. We are again 'Driving to End Prostate Cancer.'"

Woody Hair, who took a first-in-class win in 2004, joins Sparrow and his 2007 BMW 335i for this year's event. Modifications include Dinan software and oil cooler, adjustable coil-overs, 18x9.0 OZ Ultraleggera wheels shod with 265/35R18 Dunlops, Carbo-Tech pads, a four-point rollbar, and an Active Autowerke intercooler.
