"While the seats were cooling my backside, I noted the F-150's overall quietness," says associate Web producer Nate Martinez. "A majority of exterior noise and tire drone is suppressed in the F-150, unlike in my brother's Chevy Silverado, which jounces over bumps and has numerous squeaks and squawks." Additional pros? "The Ford rides abnormally smooth for a full-size rig, and the interior storage space -- particularly the cavernous center armrest bin -- is respectable, as are the wood trim and handsome seat stitching. The many cubbies, cupholders, and bins contribute to the cabin's utility and comfort, while the Sony stereo provides loud and clear road-trip entertainment." At 7500 miles, the F-150 went in for its first service, a $48.21 oil change, inspection, and tire rotation.
