2009 Acura TL SH-AWD Long Term Update 2

Truck Trend Web producer Melissa Spiering spent some time commuting in the TL and logs, "Once you're inside with the doors shut, you almost forget about the misshapen exterior looks because the interior is so enchanting. The all-black dash is powerful with the 'perforated aluminum' accents, the gauges are easy on the eyes and have a three-dimensional look at night, and the front seats feel sportier than I expected, hugging your backside nice and snug."

Nits? "The integrated radio head unit and nav are legible but they incorporate too many buttons. And the power is plenty adequate, but not as outstanding as I expected." Overall, the TL's smart interior and sporty but forgiving suspension endeared Spiering. "I can see why buyers would overlook the 'face only a mother could love' exterior."
