Assistant Web producer Scott Evans took the XF on a road trip to Northern California and became frustrated with the Jag's stubborn fuel-filler and glovebox doors, both of which refused to pop open on a few occasions. "And yet, I don't care," he says, "because the XF has so much charisma that I'd brave every frustration inherent in its over-the-top execution to say I owned one. And even though I know the unnecessary gizmos, like the motorized vents, could prove troublesome, touches like those complete this package. Whenever I started the car, I took time to watch the vents and gear selector do their dance and at every opportunity I showed it off to friends and family because it's just so cool."
