Long Term Update 1: 2010 Nissan GT-R

While it's been in our long-term fleet a mere four months, the GT-R has already amassed over 9000 miles, a testament to both its popularity and long-haul friendliness. Of course, racking up the miles has also meant racking up a service bill, in this case, one for $236.02. At 1000 miles, the GT-R made its first maintenance stop, a complimentary inspection and four-wheel alignment. Then, at 6000 miles, came a $236 job that included a Mobil 1 synthetic oil change and a full inspection.

Our next stop, at 12,000 miles, is more exhaustive, so we're a bit anxious to see the size of that bill. Not that it really matters, especially when we're having so much fun. "Just one night with the GT-R and I'm pouring out superlative upon superlative to anyone who asks about it," says Assistant Web Producer Carlos Lago. "I'm awestruck at the velocity it's capable of generating."
