Known as the KJ, the Liberty is the modern successor to the long-lived Jeep Cherokee. Although that classic box will continue in production for a short while longer, the Liberty makes a radical leap forward in design, engineering, and refinement, while preserving the "Jeep" essence and affordable price point. Longer, taller, and riding on a bigger wheelbase, the Liberty is available with a 2.4-liter/154-horse four-cylinder and 3.7-liter/210-horse V-6. Two 4x4 systems offered, with the V-6 available with the premium Selec-Trac setup.
