BMW's newest 3 Series variant looks slick to be sure, but the big news is under the hood with BMW's 2007 3 Series coupe. The 3 coupe is the first BMW in some 20 years to offer a turbocharger, and not just one, but two turbos. The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter, 306-hp inline six with BMW's new direct-injection system is available on the top trim level 335i coupe and will find its way into sedan versions soon. Other upgrades to the new coupe include the use of plastic front fenders and electric power steering, technology first seen on other BMW stablemates, as well as xDrive all-wheel-drive, which is now an option on the coupe. The new BMW 3 Series coupe is expected be on sale shortly after the Paris show.
