BMW has chopped the carbon-fiber roof off of its M6 coupe for those looking to experience what 0 to 60 in four-and-a-half seconds feels like with the top down. The power fold soft top on the 2007 BMW M6 convertible, with its trick independent rear window and flared design, is pretty much the same deal as in the base 6 Series convertible. The car's 500-hp V10 mated to BMW's seven-speed SMG automanual gearbox is essentially a carryover from its M6 sibling. Look for the car to start hitting the streets sometime next month with base prices just north of $100,000.
