Created by Ford of Europe's design team, the Ford iosis X concept unveiled at Paris is another styling exercise intended to show what the company's new design language can achieve. Although it bears little resemblance to the iosis concept coupe unveiled at the 2005 Frankfurt show, both share the so-called 'kinetic design' philosophy Ford of Europe loves to ramble on about. Iosis X is a five-door crossover that was conceived as more of a sport-themed, rugged vehicle. Call it kinetic, or just an edgy, cool-looking concept ute with slick suicide doors and a mean-looking snout, the iosis X is a signal of where Ford of Europe's design is heading and an indication that it is hoping to add a sporty, small ute to its lineup in the near future.
