One of six concept vehicles Mitsubishi brought to showcase its rollout of a new Ralliart parts and accessories program, this Eclipse Ralliart was a real showstopper. It's easy to be dazzled by its Hot Red Mica paint and carbon-fiber roof, hood, fascias, and front fencers, but underneath the flash is a turbocharged 4G63 engine borrowed from the Lancer Evolution, supplemented with a custom air intake and other HKS performance parts, boosting it to an estimated 400 horsepower. Power is transferred to the pavement through an Evo VIII six-speed manual transmission. all-wheel drive, and 20-inch wheels wrapped in AVS Sport Yokohama tires. Brembo brakes (eight-piston calipers with 15-inch slotted rotors in front, four-piston calipers with 13.5-inch slotted rotors in the rear) bring it all to a stop. Inside are Recaro performance seats, four-point restraints, racing gauges, and Rockford-Fosgate premium sound system.
