GM's Performance Division took one 2006 Pontiac G6 coupe and added its brand of styling and performance items to create the Performance Coupe. For this bright-yellow G6's new look, the division replaced the stock front and rear fascias, gave the car new rocker panels, and installed a large rear-deck wing. Also, GM Performance added exhaust tips, a set of 19-inch Forgeline wheels, and, behind those, a set of racing-inspired Wilwood brakes.
