Honda's next-generation 2007 Honda CR-V is starting to trickle into dealer showrooms, and the automaker has just released pricing for the latest version of its smallest ute.
Prices for the new CR-V range from $21,195 for the two-wheel-drive CR-V LX model to $26,595 for the CR-V 4WD EX-L model. The top trim level EX-L (EX-L is a new trim level) with Honda's navigation package standard is $28,595. All prices listed include destination and handling. Price increases for the updated CR-V are modest, with the biggest increases just a couple hundred more than comparable '06 models.
CR-V comes with one standard engine option, a 166-horsepower, 2.4-liter four mated to a standard five-speed automatic.
Among the new features on the CR-V is Honda's satellite-linked navigation system with voice recognition technology and rearview camera available for any trim level as a $2,000 factory-installed option. Honda also boasts of greater interior refinement over the previous model as well as a host of new and upgraded safety features.
Other changes include a reworked chassis and body that Honda says improves performance and quiets the cabin, door designs that have been optimized for greater ingress/egress and a 1.3-inch lower step-in height.
