VW Plans New Phaeton Model For 2009

Volkswagen AG plans to present a new model of its Phaeton luxury car in 2009, Freien Presse reported without citing sources. The newspaper wrote that the new model will also use parts from VW's Audi unit, part of the carmaker's strategy of creating synergies across its range of brands. A VW spokesman declined to comment on the report of the new model.
