Honda releases teaser shots of next-gen Euro Accord

Honda has released six teaser images of the European-market 2009 Honda Accord. Sold in the U.S. as the Acura {{{TSX}}}, the European Accord is smaller than its U.S. counterpart, especially now that the latter has grown even bigger.

Honda showed a pre-production concept of the Accord Tourer in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show, which it said was a good representation of the model's wider, sportier styling.

Due to be unveiled in March at the Geneva Motor Show, the 2009 Accord will be the first car to receive Honda's new i-DTEC 2.2-liter diesel engine. While the engine will be making the trip across the Atlantic in the next-generation TSX, it's highly unlikely that the wagon will make it to the U.S. given the bodystyle's minimal popularity.
