All of the above can be had for about $13,000, provided you supply the car. Fortunately, the Racing Dynamics package rings of Teutonic quality, providing M3 performance and specialty-car panache to the full 3-Series line. The performance gains made on the weight-penalized convertible are commendable, as it offers an M3-ragtop-like thrill ride. The conversion cost of a 325is Coupe would exceed the price of an M3, but the performance gains and exclusivity may be worth it for roundel-enamored enthusiasts.
For our money, we would forsake the minuscule mirrors and noisy brakes, whose benefits wouldn't often be realized in regular street use. The savings could be applied toward extra tires and fuel, of which you'll burn through plenty as this tuned dynamo begs for a hard life of fast miles.
