Our 350Z saw the service bay for the first time, receiving an oil change that cost us a mere $23.56. Some of our edit staff noted the 350Z was making a grinding sound at slow speeds, which the dealer diagnosed as normal tranny deceleration noise. What? You want a sports car that's as quiet and comfortable as a limo? Fuggeddaboudit! The Track model is all about unrestricted communication among car, road, and driver, and the Z does it in spades. Sure, we wish there were two power points, that the glovebox were more easily accessible, and that you weren't nearly jostled to death when driving in the trucking lane. But, as Executive Editor Matt Stone wrote in the Nissan's logbook, "Sports cars need to handle, and this one does. It sticks to the limits, the steering is talkative, and the brakes are easy to modulate. I'm sure some of the wusses on our staff whine about it, but if they want a compliant ride for their softish butts, go drive a Town Car."
