We got loads of mail about the Legacy's climate-control temperature fluctuation. The problem was cured with a new HVAC control unit, while a new A/C compressor-rpm sensor fixed a reader's car. Your fix may be different from either of those, but we do appreciate when you contact us to describe your experiences with vehicles that are the same as ours. While the Legacy GT might seem pricey at $30K, it's easy to lose sight of all the feature content. An Audi A4 3.0 Quattro would set you back an additional $5K and still be 30 horses shy of the Legacy GT.
