In the "don't try this at home" file, we replaced the tires on our long-term Chrysler at about 18K, due to some spirited driving for an MotorTrend OnLine video. A call to Tire Rack got OEM replacement tires for $103 apiece, plus shipping. It seems our 300C is the last one in town not upgraded to some 20-inch chrome and that by comparison the stock 18s seem downright tiny. Whatever, a year plus after we named it Car of the Year, the 300C still is relevant; one editor prefers it to the Cadillac STS, which costs nearly $25K more.
