Our Volvo S40 went in for its 15,000-mile service along with installation of a special-ordered driver-side seat track (to fix a clicking noise). The dealer also checked a key fob that had come apart. To be fair, it probably hit the ground, but Volvo replaced it nonetheless. The shop also replaced front and rear brake pads with a newer design to eliminate a squeal heard while backing up. And the dealer performed vehicle-management software upgrades to remedy reception concerns on the FM frequency. Otherwise, the Volvo has been a pleasure to pretend owning.
