Fleet Update: 2006 Nissan Xterra

Our Xterra went in for the 7500-mile maintenance and to investigate a warning light from the tire-pressure-monitoring system. We've checked the tire pressures ,and they've been within spec. Reader Steve Hertel wrote us that it was his spare tire, low on air, that caused the light. The dealer's diagnosis on the system found two fault codes. Per a Nissan bulletin, they "inspected the tire sensors and reinitialized" the system. No codes came back so they returned it to us, sans parts replacement. Two weeks later the light came on again, so it's back at the dealer for a recheck. Otherwise, we're lovin' it.
