Senior editor Ron Kiino hung out the "gone fishing" sign and took the Ridgeline from Death Valley to Mammoth Lake for some quality hook time. One former truck owner logged, "It's not the tough truck most truck guys have learned to live with even when they don't need to. I wouldn't use it to rip a tree trunk out of the ground, but how many people actually do that with their trucks anyway?" Still, we're using it the way most truck owners do use theirs: commuting to work, hauling stuff from the grocery or hardware stores, and going fishing.
