2006 Hyundai Sonata LX

Korean carmakers never used to offer long-term fleet vehicles. Perhaps they lacked the confidence that the cars would hold up under extended and often hard-use conditions.Hyundai broke the pattern by serving us this new-gen Sonata, and so far it's been a good move on its part. We're past the 12,000-mile mark, and the quality has remained up to snuff.Fit and finish is nearly on par with its often more expensive competitors, although we'd like to see richer dash trim. The dash illumination lights flicker now and again, and we'll have that checked soon.
