2006 Nissan XTerra

Below is an enthusiast article written by the automotive experts at Motor Trend. What's surprised us with the XTerra is that it doesn't sacrifice on-road comfort, even with the optional Off-Road package.

The second time was the charm for our XTerra's tire-pressure-monitoring system. The warning light went on again 588 miles after the first service, necessitating an unscheduled trip to the dealer.

This time, they were able to diagnose an internal battery failure on the driver-side front sensor. We're happy to report the light has remained off since and the following service at 15,000 miles was hassle-free.

What's surprised us with the XTerra is that, although its off-road capabilities are, dare we say, Jeep-like, it doesn't sacrifice on-road comfort, even with the optional Off-Road package.
