He elaborates: "The added visual sizzle over the naturally aspirated car really amps up the beauty and power." Referring to the XKR as "more of a machete than a scalpel," St. Antoine notes the Jag is surprisingly docile when traversing town: "The engine feels utterly bored in urban driving, barely awake enough to spin up the tach. You wouldn't know the supercharged 4.2 is a 'performance' engine without giving it the boot-unlike, say, a Ferrari, which is always singing in your ears."
