"This car is ergonomically challenged," claims art director Andy Foster. "I'm six foot exactly, and if I move the seat back far enough so my legs aren't crushed underneath me, then my arms need to be longer than an orangutan's to reach the steering wheel."

Online editor Mike Floyd logs: "Like the Sentra-based Rogue we flogged around the SUOTY competition, you can have some fun with the SE-R. Pop it into manual and the car's character changes: the CVT's never-ending waaaaaaaahhhhhhh to redline in auto mode becomes a fairly-fun-to-shift tranny when you work it."

Editors continue to put on the miles. With 11,250 on the odo, the SE-R paid a visit to Santa Monica Nissan for an oil change/inspection/tire rotation, which set us back $28.03.
