The new issue is great. Everything about it is better than the old issues. I really like the news section and the higher-quality paper. My favorite part was the Death Valley test; it was the funniest thing I ever read in a car magazine. You guys should record the entire four-day test and sell the tapes. Thanks for making the best magazine out there.

I just got the Sept. 2000 issue. Wow! I love the new format! You said in the August 2000 issue things were going to be different, but I didn't expect it to be this good. Keep up the exceptional work. Got my "all-new" issue today and found myself enjoying just holding the magazine, let alone reading every word. The paper itself is the perfect thickness and glossiness. The print appears larger and easier to read, and I love the bright little side boxes with their interesting facts. I've been a faithful reader since July 1955, when I was painfully awaiting my 16th birthday in September of that same year. Since then, I've considered Motor Trend the most informative automobile publication ever. Great work!

After reading your September issue, I went out and bought the August issue. I was very impressed with MT's in-depth coverage of the articles and its contents. I'm entering college this year and wish I could take courses to get a job like yours, taking great cars like the Z06 Vette, Viper R/T10, and SVT Cobra Mustang on rip-roarin' test drives. Personally, I think that wouldn't be work at all. You now have another subscriber to add to the list. Read you soon!
