Geo Tracker four-door: The Tracker will gain two more doors and a longer wheelbase as Geo finally gets to rebadge Suzuki's four-door Sidekick. A replacement for the two-door version is expected in '97...Honda Civic: If Honda continues with the Civic's four-year cycle, a new, but probably not radically different, version should be released in the fall of '95...Hyundai Elantra: Lighter and rounder than the current Elantra, this new sedan will be powered by Hyundai's DOHC fours instead of the Mitsubishi-designed engines now used...Isuzu Rodeo/Honda Passport: Reports indicate Honda is working with Isuzu on the next Rodeo, which Honda rebadges as the Passport. It will feature a new interior and a mild exterior restyle...Isuzu T-150 pickup: Based on the Chevy S-10/GMC Sonoma, this new Isuzu compact pickup will be built by GM in Shreveport, Louisiana. Isuzu's influence will be exhibited in the sheetmetal, although it's not known whether the T-150 will be powered by an Isuzu or GM engine-and wouldn't Isuzu like to get its hands on that Enhanced Vortec V-6?...Mercedes-Benz E-Class: Mercedes' bread-and-butter line is expected to grow in size and accommodations, yet retain its current $41,000-$52,000 price range. Four round headlamps will give the front end a distinctive look. Later the sedan will be joined by coupe, convertible, and wagon versions. The current crop of engines will be retained until '97, when a new line of aluminum V-6s is expected to appear...Mitsubishi Galant V-6: Originally scheduled for this spring, the V-6 powered Galant has now been backed up to the fall. With the new Diamante expected to move upmarket for '96, this Galant version will likely move into the current Diamante's market niche...Plymouth Breeze: The Plymouth version of the Chrysler Cirrus/Dodge Stratus will offer only the base 2.0-liter four and Mitsubishi-built 2.5-liter V-6...Subaru SUV: Scuttlebutt has Subaru releasing a sport/utility-type vehicle based on the new Legacy platform...Toyota RAV4: The perky RAV4, which stands for "recreational active vehicle, four-wheel drive," arrives here this fall. It's powered by the Camry's 2.0-liter/120-horse 16-valve four-banger and includes independent suspension and all-wheel drive. This two-door compact SUV sells for about $16,000 in Japan. A four-door, long-wheelbase version is also being considered...Vector Avtech SC: Vector is putting forth a fresh effort under the new ownership of MegaTech, which also now owns Lamborghini. In fact, the Avtech SC is expected to boast a Vector/Lamborghini V-12 that will produce about 450 horsepower. The pricetag could be in the $180,000 range.
