Volvo sees the C 70's prime competitors as the upcoming BMW 5-Series and Mercedes-Benz CL coupes, as well as the Lexus SC 300. Although vague on pricing specifics, execs intimate a likely starting figure around $40,000.
The first public viewing of the new C 70 Coupe was at the Paris exhibition in October. In January, Volvo will unveil the convertible counterpart at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
