BMW Z8
In the upcoming "The World is not Enough" 007 flick, James Bond will drive (a lot, we hope) a limited-production BMW Z8. Finally, a ride for our favorite licensed killer with some serious steam to back up its good looks! Taking styling cues from the classic 507 Roadster, the Z8 rides on an all-new platform, sharing its engine and manual transmission with the new and highly lustworthy M5 sedan. That means a 5.0-liter/400-horsepower V-8 ready to uncork 0-60-mph acceleration in the high 4.0-second range. Though deliveries are set to begin in early 2000, only a picture of the prototype (at left) is available of this 2001 model. Retro styling accents the luxurious interior, and the top is power operated. Should be well worth the $125K.

Buick Century 2000
Carrying the millennium year as part of its label, the Century 2000 is a special-edition car, featuring added power, better value, and fresh appearance. Commemorative 2000 badging and embroidery is a tip-off to the added performance and increased comfort ushering the buyer into the Century/century.
