Cadillac Seville
Just minor changes are expected in 2000 for the recently reconstructed Cadillac Seville. Substantial structural strength and integrity coupled with capable handling and compliant ride quality coddle the five passengers in the Seville's handsome interior. Details are key on the Seville, which hosts a brimming list of convenience and luxury features. A 4.6-liter/275-horsepower Northstar V-8 is the basic motivator. With still more equipment, the STS version comes packing a 300-horsepower V-8 that swats you to 60 mph in 6.8 seconds. Though the Seville's front-drive architecture holds it back in the sport/luxury ranks, this Caddie delivers plenty of everyday driving satisfaction.

Chevrolet Astro
From family traveling to cargo hauling, the Chevrolet Astro van offers versatility to meet your needs. A 4.3-liter Vortec engine puts out 190 horsepower, while a beefy chassis allows for heavy-duty towing without consternation. Available in three trim levels, the Astro can be configured in a variety of seating or cargo arrangements. The base model comes well equipped with air conditioning and a slew of other amenities. LS Astro Max and LT versions add a veritable plethora of options. This year brings only a few comfort and convenience enhancements. Especially smart is a system that turns off any interior lights that have been left on within 20 minutes of ignition shut-off.
