Road Test With MTMT/Cadillac Test DriveFor the past year, Motor Trend and Cadillac have jointly been offering a chance for you, our readers, to get behind the wheel and test drive new cars like we do. Motor Trend/Cadillac Competitive Test Drive events have allowed participants an opportunity to drive not only Cadillac's vehicles but also those of their competitors in a controlled testing environment. These events have been crisscrossing the United States, and we're now in the process of finalizing the 2001 schedule. Yesterday I participated in the Motor Trend/Cadillac Competitive Test Drive. I just wanted to let you know how enjoyable the experience was. Tim Graham and the rest of the crew were fantastic. One of the pro drivers took me and a friend on a "hot-lap" through the Catera course, and that made the whole day. The chance to compare the cars was just icing on the cake. I just returned from the Motor Trend/Cadillac Test Drive in Houston. Thank you for the invitation and hospitality. It was an excellent experience, and I enjoyed speaking to Mr. Graham. I also participated in Jeep 101 and the Chrysler Proving grounds earlier this year. This was a much preferred venue, with a direct comparison of various makes of automobiles.
