"The CTS's sat/nav is one of the best in the business," claims editor-in-chief Angus MacKenzie, who adds, "great packaging and great graphics, but more important, it's not merely passive-you get real-time traffic updates and you can glance at the color-coded symbols on the map to see straightaway which freeways are not worth bothering with. Even better, you get real-time severe-weather warnings-today it told me to watch for flash floods in Orange County."

Online techie Kirill Ougarov wishes the CTS's audio system could withstand floods of bass: "Too many rattles when the stereo is cranked with the bass turned up (does anyone ever test for this?)." Still he sees huge strides here. "If someone had told me five years ago Cadillac would be making cars like this, I'd have laughed in his face."
