Performance: 2005 Chrysler 300 SRT-8 Supercharged

Externally, the GS SRT-8 looks much the same save for a T-Rex mesh grille, a "Supercharged" logo on the decklid, and a lowered ride height, which comes by way of KW Suspension Stage 1 adjustable coil-over shocks ($1495). We've experienced solid performance results with previous KW products, but such wasn't the case with the GS SRT-8. The KWs had arrived the night before and were installed without proper setup or steering realignment; this generated an inconsistent ride height with a pronounced droop in the nose, resulting in worse-than-stock handling and tire rub--a proper coil-over setup would've yielded improvements. Regardless, the added power, cool looks, and healthy exhaust rumble help produce a tasty enough SRT-8.
