Those lucky enough to explore the history of Ferrari at the Galleria Ferrari in Maranello, Italy, will now also be treated to a exhibition that explores the special relationship between women and the brand over the last 60 years.

Called "La Ferrari E Le Donne" ("Ferrari and Women") the photographic retrospective features legendary actresses including Ingrid Bergman and Zsa Zsa Gabor, along with famous models and family members of Ferrari race car drivers.

Besides a 1959 250 GT Spider, a 1962 250 GT Berlinetta, a 2000 360 Spider, and a 456 GT, viewers can take in the one-off 1957 250 GT coupe Enzo Ferrari made for princess Liliana de Rethy or the Berlinetta 375 Mille Miglia shown at the Saloon of Paris, ordered by Bergman in 1954.

Not surprisingly, there are plenty of photos from the movies, including Brigitte Bardot in "The Contempt" from 1963 with a 250 GT spider, and Ann Stroyberg with a 250 California in "Les liaisons dangereuses, from 1959. No mention was made of the Ferrari that starred with Mia Sara and in "Ferris Bueler's Day Off," but we understand that that car had as much relation to a real Ferrari under the skin as a Fiero-based kit car has with a Lamborghini.

You'll also find special attention paid to the "Women of Car Races," including the wife of Piero Taruffi, Isabella, who in 1957 welcomed her husband at the arrival of the last Mille Miglia and their daughter Prisca driving the same car.

While "Ferrari and Women" may not merit a trip across the Atlantic on its own, it definitely adds a unique feminine flavor to the already special Galleria Ferrari experience.
