"This pickup has managed to impress me again and again," says photographer Julia LaPalme, who often uses the Toyota to transport motorcycles and supplies to and from her mountain-top residence.

"It proves so useful when I need that hauling capacity: furniture and belongings for a move; people and dogs for a climb up a mountain ridge; bundles of firewood."

Of course, the Tundra isn't all work and no play. "It will take you on the back roads with the ability of 4WD and the comfort of leather, but will also keep its lane at a good clip through twisty mountain roads. While no 'city-goer,' its cushy seats, parking assist, and great visibility give it a fighting chance in all terrains." The biggest challenge with the Tundra? "Finding parking spaces large enough."
