A hit? As much as any car can be a hit these days. The new European midsize sedan has won the European Car of the Year award. Nesbitt is credited for leading its design team before he returned to head North American design.
What about us? The Insignia was to become the 2011 Saturn Aura in North America. GM has placed Saturn under review, and now Buick and Opel will share design.
What's next for Nesbitt: He'll need to update a lot of North American cars and trucks that have been on hold the last couple of years.
