Everyone has been hit: Even Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway has had credit trouble in recent months.
Why he's here: Berkshire Hathaway's MidAmerican Energy Holdings invested $230 million to buy about 10 percent of BYD Co. Ltd.
Why? Mostly because BYD (Build Your Dreams) is deep into "researching, developing, manufacturing, and selling rechargeable batteries, automobiles, electric automobiles. And related products."
Bear market: BYD builds some of China's cheesiest cars, ripping off Mercedes and Peugeot.
