Credit for: The first drawing of the Cadillac CTS coupe, which was designed pretty much like that drawing. We called it "the best-looking GM car since the Bill Mitchell era."
But coupes don't sell: When GM design showed it to Lutz and Wagoner, Cadillac exterior design director John Manoogian III said, "Everyone agreed, we can't afford not to do this car."
Turns out: GM can't afford to do the car, and it's on hold.
Bottom line: If you see Munson's car on the road in the future, you'll know GM will have indeed turned things around.
